  • How to bake our raw/frozen pies at home?
    Our pies should be baked from frozen, at 350 F for approximately 60 minutes. Times will vary depending on your oven.
  • Can I freeze a baked pie?
    Absolutely, the best way to ensure it freezes well is to wrap it in airtight plastic wrap or a freezer bag and return it to the box and then freeze for up to three months.
  • I have a baked frozen pie, how do I thaw it?
    Baked frozen pies thaw best overnight in the fridge.
  • How long will my pie keep before it spoils?
    Pies should be kept in the fridge and are best consumed within 4-5 days. If you plan on consuming it same day, you can leave it on the counter at room temperate for 3-4 hours.
  • Do you do large orders for weddings/parties?
    Yes, we do accept larger orders, we do require advance notice for large orders. Please get in touch via email at hello@perthpieco.ca
  • How early should I order pies for the holidays?
    It is recommended to order your pies as soon as possible, cut off for holiday orders is usually one week prior to the holiday.
  • I ordered or would like to order a specialty pie, when can I pick it up?
    It takes us 24 hours to make specialty pies, so we kindly ask for pick up after 11am so we have adequate time to make your specialty pie.
  • Are your pies gluten free or vegan?
    No, we use flour in our kitchen and we are unable to provide a gluten free environment to safely offer gluten free products. We also use lard for a traditional tender and flaky pastry crust. We do make a couple of gluten friendly items, call and ask us about them 613-200-8743
  • Is your kitchen peanut/nut free?
    No, we do use peanut butter, pecans, almonds, and walnuts. We do sanitize our surfaces and dishes, however, we cannot guarantee any cross contamination hasn't happened.
